Recently, Wofei Changkong's self-developed strategic product AE200 Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Aircraft (eVTOL) validation aircraft successfully completed a series of flight tests including full size, full weight, and full envelope tilt transition, becoming the first eVTOL enterprise in China and the second in the world to complete such test subjects. This marks a historic breakthrough in the development of eVTOL in China, and the product technology remains at the forefront of the world in fierce international competition.

According to the latest version of the World Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Aircraft Catalogue released by the Vertical Flight Service (VFS), the number of eVTOL concepts worldwide has exceeded 1000.

Further subdividing, there are currently three main technological routes in the field of manned eVTOL: multi rotor, composite wing, and tiltrotor. The research and development difficulty of the three increases in sequence, with tiltrotor configurations having obvious advantages in endurance, speed, load capacity, and comfort. In Mark Moore's ranking of global companies engaged in eVTOL research and development published by Aviation Weekly this year, 7 out of the top 10 companies worldwide chose the tiltrotor configuration. Wofei Changkong is the only Chinese enterprise among them.

AE200 strictly follows the method of system engineering, conducting requirement analysis, scheme design, and integration verification from parts, finished products, systems, and complete machines one by one; We have conquered multiple core key technologies, gradually and orderly expanded the flight envelope and operational boundaries, and verified the aircraft's maneuverability, stability, and fatigue durability within the entire envelope range.

At present, AE200 has achieved a solid technical foundation in all key technologies such as overall configuration, performance aerodynamics, flight control avionics, tilt conversion distance, power energy, distribution and environmental control, human-machine engineering, and maintenance support, especially in the verification of core system functional safety and fault reconstruction, laying a solid technical foundation for mass production models.

At the same time, the AE200 model certification work is steadily and efficiently advancing, maintaining the leading position of Wofei Changkong in the process of manned eVTOL airworthiness certification in China and even globally.
